Her Loving Husband’s Return is Here!

First of all, thank you, thank you for all the messages I’ve received concerning Her Loving Husband’s Return. It’s been very exciting to me knowing there are so many of you out there eager to learn the fate of the Wentworths. I hope everyone finds the ending a fitting conclusion for the James and Sarah saga. A few of you have told me you’re halfway done with the book already! Wow!

The book is now available through Amazon for Kindle. For those of you with Nooks or iPads, it will be available from BN and Apple in a few days.

My brain is on overload since I’ve been burning the midnight oil making sure the book was ready to go. I’ll have more to say about Her Loving Husband’s Return, and the Loving Husband Trilogy, over the next few days. The only thing I can say for now is that when you discover the secret of the ending, don’t tell! That’s part of the fun of reading, isn’t it? That’s one thing I’ve found about the three books of the Loving Husband Trilogy–they’re hard to talk about without major spoilers.

Enjoy the conclusion of the Loving Husband Trilogy. Happy reading!

  1. Hi Meredith,

I just finished Her Loving Husband’s Return. I enjoyed it so much. I started reading this trilogy because it was set in Salem, Massachusetts. I have been there many times. As I was reading about different places you described, I could actually see them. I have walked out to the lighthouse at Pickering Wharf many times. I have shopped at Laurie Cabot’s shop. I picture her when you describe Olivia and her shop at Pickering Wharf. The part about the candy shop where Sarah stopped one day. I could go on and on. You wrote about Salem liked you were there. You even mentioned Fort Ontario in Oswego, New York in the third book. My son went to college in Oswego. It was so much fun reading a book mentioning so many places I have been. I know this was the end of James and Sarah’s story but why does it have to end? I, along with so many of your fans, would love to see a book four. A friend of mine just started reading book one because I was telling her about the story. She already is “hooked”. Thanks for a great story.

    Sincerely,

    Debbie Pierce

    • Hi Debbie. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. You just made my day. I hadn’t visited Salem when I wrote HDLH, though I did visit as I was writing HLHC. My trip there helped me describe the place in more detail. I absolutely loved Salem when I was there and I’m so glad I had a chance to visit. I appreciate your telling your friends about the books. I know there’s no greater publicity than word of mouth from people who have already liked the books. I can’t promise there will be a book four, but I’m also a never say never kind of person. I will say that if I come up with an idea that grabs me and I think it adds to James and Sarah’s story…who knows? 🙂

  2. I’m hoping B n N has it before I wake up tom. morning.. Love your books and find them as a great escape from work and the kids.

  3. Just completed the third book this morning Meredith. It is a triumph, brought a wee tear to my eye. I am amazed at how much i forecast from the previous book – we clearly are on the same wavelength, even down to the ‘male’ names! You predicted a strong ending and you certainly gave us that. Thank you. Cannot wait to see what you do next…Highland Clearances…pretty please. Whatever you have planned, I know I will love reading it. Best wishes.

    • Did you guess the names too? You’re very perceptive! I’m so glad you liked the ending. I think I was more worried about this third book than the other two. Thank you so much for your encouragement.
